Chen Zhexuan

Chen Zhexuan started out in the youth ranks at Shandong Taishan and made his senior debut for the club on 19 December 2022, coming off the bench in the 88th minute of an 8–0 Chinese Super League win over Shenzhen. He went on to make seven appearances for Shandong Taishan's first team across all competitions and was part of the squad that won the 2022 Chinese FA Cup. Away from the first team, he also captained Shandong Taishan's U21 side to the 2023 CFA U-21 League title, a campaign that earned the team promotion to China League Two.

Looking to build on that experience with regular first-team football, Chen joined Shijiazhuang Gongfu on loan in January 2024 and made 21 appearances in China League One that season. The loan spell was successful enough that Shijiazhuang made the move permanent, signing him on 26 February 2025. He featured eight times for the club in the 2025 season, split between the league and the FA Cup, before a further move arrived that summer.

On 16 July 2025, Chen transferred to Tianjin Jinmen Tiger from Shijiazhuang Gongfu on a free transfer, making his debut for his new club on 14 September 2025.

Internationally, Chen has represented China at youth level, collecting six caps for the U20 side between 2022 and 2023 and scoring during 2023 AFC U-20 Asian Cup qualification against the Maldives, a goal that helped him earn selection for the final squad at that tournament. He has continued his progress with the China U23 team, for whom he has won nine caps.
