Dani de Wit

Dani de Wit came through the Ajax academy, where he first made his name with Jong Ajax, scoring 19 goals in 56 appearances and winning the Eerste Divisie title in the 2017–18 season. That form earned him a first-team debut in 2018, and he collected an Eredivisie and KNVB Cup double that same campaign, though his opportunities in the senior side remained limited.

In August 2019 he moved to AZ Alkmaar before joining VfL Bochum on a free transfer in July 2024 on a four-year contract. He made 28 appearances, scored two goals and provided an assist, but could not prevent Bochum's relegation, and he moved on to FC Utrecht in July 2025 on a three-year deal.

De Wit's strongest spell in international football came at Under-21 level. Capped 17 times for the Netherlands U21s and scoring 11 goals, he captained the side at the 2021 UEFA European Under-21 Championship and was named in the Team of the Tournament. He had already appeared for the Netherlands U19s at the 2017 European Championship, scoring against Germany.
