Eduardo Mustre

Eduardo Mustre spent his early years on a tennis court rather than a football pitch, representing Mexico at a Sub-14 world championship in the Czech Republic and collecting medals at the National Olympiad before deciding to switch sports for good.

That decision took him to Pachuca's academy in 2019, where he worked through every age group from Sub-15 to Sub-23, scoring 12 goals for the Sub-20 side and also appearing for Pachuca Premier. He made his Liga MX debut with the first team on 7 November 2020, and in 2021 he played a friendly for Mexico's under-20 national side.

In 2023, instead of staying on the usual path through Mexican football, Mustre moved to Florida International University to play in the NCAA. He finished his first college season as the Golden Panthers' top scorer with 11 goals and earning a place on the American Conference's First Team and the United Soccer Coaches' All-East Region Second Team. The recognition continued in the seasons that followed, including a Preseason All-Conference selection, a spot among Top Drawer Soccer's leading forwards, and further All-Conference and All-Region honours in his final college year.

Puebla signed him from the university on 4 January 2026, bringing him back into Mexican professional football. He started out with the club's reserve team in the Liga MX U21 before working into the first-team squad for the 2025/26 season. His first goal for Puebla's senior side came on 31 July 2026, in a match against Guadalajara.
