About the player
Faton Ademi's route to the Alemannia Aachen first team ran through his own city and back again. Born in Aachen, he started in the club's youth setup and stayed until 2019, spent two seasons at SV 1914 Eilendorf, then returned in January 2022. In July 2024 he signed his first professional contract.
He was handed a debut in the 3. Liga on 11 March 2025, coming on as a substitute in a 3–0 win over FC Ingolstadt 04. By April 2026 he had made around 35 league appearances for the senior side and scored five goals.
Before that, he captained Alemannia's under-19s and scored four goals in the U19 Bundesliga during the 2023/24 season. He was called up to the Kosovo under-19 national team in 2023; he holds dual Kosovan and German citizenship.
None of his moves involved a fee. Every step was either an internal youth transfer or a free move. He has no individual awards and no senior titles.
