About the player
Filip Krušelj made his first appearance in the Prva HNL, and his first for the senior side of the only club he has played for, when Slaven Belupo put him on against GNK Dinamo Zagreb in April 2022.
Krušelj came through the NK Slaven Belupo academy and captained the under-19 team before the step up, and no transfer fee has ever been attached to his name, because there has never been a transfer. He settled at right-back and stayed there.
By August 2026 he had played 50 official matches for the club. Two months before that, in March 2026, he signed a contract extension running to the summer of 2029.
Croatia has called on him at youth level: two caps for the under-19 side and three for the under-21s, with no goals in either.
