Finn Ole Becker

Finn Ole Becker came up through FC St. Pauli's academy after joining the club in 2011, having started out at TSV Sparrieshoop and Holsatia Elmshorn. He made his senior debut for St. Pauli in 2019 and went on to make 88 appearances for the club, scoring four goals, mostly in the 2. Bundesliga and DFB-Pokal.

He moved to TSG 1899 Hoffenheim on a free transfer in July 2022. The switch did not bring an immediate step up: his first season was spent with Hoffenheim's reserve side in the Regionalliga Südwest, where he made eight appearances and scored once. He then worked his way into the first team and became a regular starter under manager Pellegrino Matarazzo in 2023. Across the Bundesliga, DFB-Pokal and UEFA Europa League, the left-footed midfielder made 52 appearances for Hoffenheim's senior side between 2022 and 2025, though he did not find the net for the club at that level.

In August 2025, Becker left for 1. FC Nürnberg in a deal reported at between €0.25 million and €0.3 million. The move has brought more of an attacking return: in the 2. Bundesliga he has scored three goals in 27 appearances for his new club.

Becker has represented Germany at youth level, progressing through the U18, U19 and U20 sides before earning three caps for the U21s, with whom he was included in the squad for the U21 European Championship.
