Francisco José Potso

Francisco José Pozzo arrived at Unión La Calera in January 2026, joining the Chilean side on loan from Argentina's Vélez Sarsfield, a move that runs through the end of the year. The forward, born in Buenos Aires, had already spent time away from Vélez once before, loaned to Talleres in Córdoba between 2023 and 2025, where his appearances for the first team in the Copa de la Liga Profesional were limited.

At Unión La Calera he has become a regular fixture, featuring in nineteen league matches this season and scoring twice in Chile's top flight. He has also added a further goal in the Copa Chile across three appearances there, while six outings in the Copa de la Liga have yet to bring a goal in that competition.

Pozzo plays as a forward, favouring his right foot, and wears the number nine shirt for his current club. His path so far has been shaped by loan spells rather than a settled run at one club, moving from Vélez's system to Córdoba and now to Chile in search of regular football.
