Franco Peloso

Franco Peloso is an Argentine forward who joined Paraguay's Nacional Asunción in January 2026, arriving as a free agent once his loan spell had run its course. His career began in the youth ranks of Rosario Central, where he featured for the club's under-20 side before moving on.

The loan came in February 2025, when Rosario Central sent him to Encarnación FC. It was a short stint — half a year and three appearances — but a productive one: he scored three goals in those three matches, a return that stands out given how little time he had on the pitch.

That loan spell closed out, and Peloso's move to Nacional Asunción followed without a transfer fee changing hands. He has not been capped by Argentina at any level, senior or youth, and has no titles or individual honours to his name so far. At 20, with only a handful of senior appearances behind him, the Encarnación loan remains the clearest signal of what he can do in front of goal.
