About the player
Georgiy Borisov is a product of the FC Chertanovo academy in Moscow, where he progressed through the club's youth ranks before making his senior debut in the 2024–2025 season. That first year brought him just one appearance in the Second League B and one in the Russian Cup, but the following season he established himself as a regular starter, making 27 appearances in the Second League B and scoring twice. Across all levels at Chertanovo, from youth football through to the first team, Borisov built up 143 appearances, 33 goals and 24 assists.
In the summer of 2026 that development at Chertanovo led to a move to Chelyabinsk, a transfer covered by local outlets including MK Chelyabinsk and 1obl.ru. He signed through to the end of 2028. At his new club, the midfielder continues to feature in the Second League B, appearing for both the senior side and the reserve team, Chelyabinsk-2.
Standing at 196 cm, Borisov is a physically imposing presence in central midfield, and his rapid rise from Chertanovo's youth setup to a regular starting role in the space of a single season marked him out among the club's academy graduates before Chelyabinsk moved to sign him. His career so far has been built entirely in Russia's lower divisions, and he has not yet been called into any Russia youth or senior squad.
