Hatano Go

Standing 198 centimetres tall, Go Hatano joined the club's youth ranks from Musashimurayama 1FC and made his first-team debut in 2016, spending the years either side of that on loan at FC Tokyo U-23 in the J3 League.

His clearest moment in an FC Tokyo shirt came in the 2020 J.League Cup final, played on 4 January 2021 after a delayed schedule. Hatano started and played the full 90 minutes as FC Tokyo beat Kashiwa Reysol 2–1 to lift the trophy. Across his time at the club he made 91 appearances in all competitions, with further outings in the Emperor's Cup, the J.League Cup and the AFC Champions League.

He returned to FC Tokyo in January 2024, playing 13 league matches that year and seven in 2025. When his contract at FC Tokyo expired at the end of January 2026, Hatano made the move to V-Varen Nagasaki permanent, rejoining the club he had previously represented on loan.

At international level, Hatano was named among the reserve goalkeepers in Japan's squad for the 2017 FIFA U-20 World Cup without featuring in a match, and later earned three caps for the Japan U-23 side, appearing at the 2018 AFC U-23 Championship and the 2019 Toulon Tournament. He was called up to a senior national team training camp in 2024.
