About the player
Illia Olkhovyi made his senior debut for PFC Lviv in the Ukrainian Premier League and later moved through Minai before settling at Nyva Ternopil, where his run of 58 appearances for the first team turned him into the club's regular goalkeeper. In June 2026 he joined Dynamo Kyiv, a transfer reported at around €100,000, with Minai entitled to half the fee under a clause tied to the economic rights they still held in the player.
At Dynamo, Olkhovyi has started at the level below the first team, playing in the Ukrainian Premier League-2, and he also featured in a friendly against Slavia Prague that finished 1:1.
Born in Ternopil, Olkhovyi passed through the DYuSSh sports school in his home city before joining PFC Lviv's youth setup, where he played in the U-19 championship and the Youth League. He was also called up to Ukraine's U-17 squad for a training camp and friendlies against Armenia. He has not yet been capped by the senior national team.
