Jesús Hernández

Jesús Hernández's route to Sweden ran through five clubs in five years. Born in Madrid, the defender came through the youth ranks at CD Colmenar de Oreja before moving on to CD Sitio de Aranjuez, where he settled into senior football and made 48 appearances, scoring six goals in two seasons.

The path since has been anything but settled. A free transfer took him to Real Murcia Imperial at the start of 2024, followed within months by a switch to FC Cartagena B in the fifth division. The breakthrough came that December, when Cartagena promoted him to the first-team squad and handed him a debut in the Segunda División, a 4–1 defeat away to CD Castellón. He continued turning out for Cartagena's reserves alongside it. The following year he moved on again, to Juventud Torremolinos in the Primera Federación, before being released.

That release led to Degerfors IF, where Hernández has signed a contract running to 2029. He has called the move a childhood dream, finally landing him in a top-tier league. He has yet to add international recognition or team honours to that record; for now, his story is one of persistence through the lower tiers rather than the trophies that sit above them.
