Johan Johanessen Bakke

Sogndal shaped Bakke twice over: it is where he was born, and where his father and grandfather played before him. He worked through Sogndal II before breaking into the senior side, making his league debut in September 2020 and staying with the club until 2022.

The move to Molde that January put him alongside a squad that won the Eliteserien title and the Norwegian Cup that same year, though Bakke's own part in the cup run was limited to an unused place on the bench for the final. He spent time with Molde's reserve side before working into the first team, and remained at the club until the summer of 2025.

Strømsgodset paid roughly 2.5 million kroner for him that July, but the stay was short: six months later, in February 2026, he signed a four-year contract at Rosenborg BK, a deal that also left Strømsgodset with a sell-on clause. In between those moves, he was named Eliteserien Young Player of the Month.

Bakke's international career so far runs through the Norway youth ranks: caps at U17, U18 and U19 level, followed by a first U21 appearance. A senior call-up has not yet arrived.
