About the player
Kristian Mandić grew up in Frankfurt am Main and started out in the youth system at FSV Frankfurt before joining the Eintracht Frankfurt academy in 2022. He holds both Croatian and German citizenship, but it is Croatia he has represented at youth level, earning caps for the under-17 side before stepping up to the under-19 squad.
In the summer of 2025 he left Frankfurt for 1. FC Nürnberg, signing a contract that runs until 2028. German outlet Liga-Zwei described the fee involved as a small one, with no official figure released by either club. He was initially attached to Nürnberg's second team.
Mandić made his senior debut for Nürnberg's first team in the 2. Bundesliga at the end of August 2026, playing the full match as the side beat Arminia Bielefeld 4–1.
He now wears the number 36 shirt at Nürnberg.
