About the player
Livio Cicero arrived at Helmond Sport in June 2026 on a free transfer, with Cicero signing a contract running to 30 June 2028.
Born in Hasselt, Cicero started out at Park FC Houthalen before joining KRC Genk's academy, where he stayed until the under-11 level, and then moved into Lommel SK's youth ranks. He made his senior debut for Lommel SK in the Belgian First Division B in February 2024, playing twice without scoring. Three months later he left on a free transfer for Jong KV Mechelen, signing a two-year deal with an option for a third season. His first campaign there, in the Second Amateur Division, brought four goals in 25 appearances.
Five appearances into his time in the Eerste Divisie, he scored his first goal for the club against VVV-Venlo, in a match where he also set up another. Cicero, who is right-footed, has not yet been capped by Belgium at any level.
