About the player

Fadinger came through Sturm Graz's academy, joining as an eight-year-old, and made his senior debut for the club in 2017 at 17. He spent much of his early career out on loan at second-tier SV Lafnitz, first in 2019–20 and again in 2021–22, with 38 league games and seven goals. After his Sturm Graz contract ran out, he signed for TSV Hartberg on a free, then moved on to SC Rheindorf Altach in 2023.

He joined Motherwell on a free transfer in May 2025 on a two-year deal that was subsequently extended to 2028. He made 35 league appearances and scored four goals as Motherwell finished fourth in the Premiership. The club named him a "Steelman", a title it awards for durability and consistency, after he missed just three games all season through injury or personal reasons.

Fadinger has represented Austria at Under-16 and Under-21 level but has not been capped at senior international level.
