Leon Zaidenzal

Leon Zaidenzal made his way to Dynamo Moscow through its academy rather than a transfer fee, arriving from Krasnodar's football academy in 2018-19 and spending several seasons working through the youth ranks before breaking into the reserve side. His debut for Dynamo-2 Moscow came in August 2022 against Dinamo Vologda, and he went on to make 62 appearances for the reserve team, scoring six goals over three seasons in the Russian Second League.

The most striking of those goals came in November 2023, when he scored the winning goal in normal time against 2Drots — and then converted again in the penalty shootout. He also captained Dynamo-2 during a run of consecutive promotions, including the Second League Division B, Group 2 title in 2024.

Zaidenzal made his senior debut for Dynamo Moscow in the Russian Premier League on 27 July 2024, against Lokomotiv Moscow, completing the step up from the reserve team he had led as captain. The club rewarded him with a contract extension to June 2028, signed in August 2025. More recently, he has been noted as the team's leader in duels won, with an 81% success rate.

At youth international level, Zaidenzal has represented Russia across three age groups: five caps and a goal for the U16s, two caps for the U17s, and one for the U18s, all accumulated between 2019 and 2021.
