Li Yongjia

Li Yongjia was born in Sanshui District, Foshan, Guangdong, and local media there still refer to him as a "Sanshui-born" player; he has also served as a football ambassador for the district. He came through the ranks at Guangzhou City, where he was promoted to the first team in May 2022 and made his debut the following month. That spell ended in early 2023 when the club was dissolved, and he moved on a free transfer to Meizhou Hakka, where he played through the 2024 season.

Li joined Tianjin Jinmen Tiger, the club now known by its earlier name Tianjin Teda, on a free transfer in January 2025, switching from the number 38 he had worn previously to number 22. Across the 2025 season he made 13 league appearances and two FA Cup appearances for the club, 15 matches in total, without scoring a goal or registering an assist.

At international level, Li has represented China at under-23 level, featuring for the side at the 2022 Asian Games, which were held in 2023. He has not been called up to the senior national team.
