About the player
A trial spell with Shanghai Shenhua in March 2020 turned into a contract the following February, and by 2023 the midfielder had a Chinese FA Cup winner's medal to his name — 16 appearances and two goals across his time at the club, split between the league and the cup.
With competition for places tight, Shenhua sent him out on loan to Qingdao Youth Island in 2024, and he made 17 appearances that season, scored once and set up two more, and in February 2025 signed for the renamed Qingdao West Coast on a free transfer through to the end of 2026.
He was capped once at U-16 level, and between 2018 and 2019 made five appearances for China's U-19/U-20 side, including the 2018 Panda Cup, which China won, and the following year's edition, where the team finished fourth. He added three further caps for the U-22s in 2023.
