Marco Kana

Marco Kana joined Anderlecht's academy at the age of seven, and by 2019 he had already forced his way into the first-team picture. His first senior goal came on 20 October 2019, against Sint-Truiden.

The path since then has run through loan spells rather than a straight line. Between 2022 and 2025 he featured for RSCA Futures, Anderlecht's feeder side in the Challenger Pro League, and in between those spells he spent the 2023/24 season out on loan at Kortrijk. There he made 22 appearances — 20 in the Belgian Pro League and two in the Belgian Cup — without finding the net.

Primarily a centre-back, Kana has also been used as a defensive midfielder. In September 2023, Anderlecht rewarded him with a contract extension running to 2028.

At international level, Kana has moved through Belgium's youth ranks: from the under-16s, where he scored once in four appearances, through the under-17s and under-19s, up to the under-21s, for whom he has made 12 appearances. He has not yet been capped by the senior national side.

By the middle of 2026, Kana had made 99 appearances for Anderlecht's first team, scoring once, and was part of the squad that reached the final of the Belgian Cup that year.
