Mohamed Ortaim Sankoh

Mohamed Ortaim Sankoh's best spell in senior football came on loan at Heracles Almelo, where in 2023-24 he scored six goals in the Eredivisie, including a hat-trick against Almere City.

Sankoh had moved to England to join Stoke City's academy in 2018, before switching to Germany and VfB Stuttgart's youth setup in 2020. He was promoted into Stuttgart's senior structure in 2021, though his development since has run mostly through loan spells rather than first-team football at the club itself. A first loan at Vitesse in 2022-23 brought two goals in 21 Eredivisie appearances, a more modest return than the one that followed at Heracles Almelo.

Internationally, Sankoh represented the Netherlands at youth level and was part of the squad that won the 2019 European Under-17 Championship, having earned caps at both under-16 and under-17 level. Despite his Sierra Leonean descent, he has not been called up by either the Dutch or Sierra Leonean senior national teams.
