Pedro Henryque Pereira dos Santos

Sport Recife's youth coaches called him Pedro Maranhão to tell him apart from another Pedro on the books — a nickname from his academy days in Bacabal that has stuck with him ever since. He came through the Recife academy and played two editions of the Copa São Paulo de Futebol Júnior before breaking into the first team in the Campeonato Pernambucano in 2019.

The path afterwards ran through loan spells and lower-division football: Ferroviária in 2020, then Figueirense in 2021 in the Campeonato Catarinense and Série D. The move that changed things came later that year, when he crossed to Portugal to join Maia, where he scored 19 goals in 40 matches in the third tier over the 2021–2022 season. A season at Sanjoanense followed before he signed for Tondela in July 2023.

At Tondela he became a key midfielder as the club won promotion to the Primeira Liga for 2024–2025, contributing seven goals and four assists in 28 Liga Portugal 2 appearances that season. He then held his place at the higher level, making 33 appearances with six goals and two assists in the 2025–2026 Primeira Liga campaign, in a season in which Tondela finished 17th.

In July 2026, Pedro left for the Chinese Super League, joining Henan Songshan Longmen on a free transfer. He has made nine appearances for the Chinese club during the 2026 season, with two assists to his name so far. He has not been capped by the Brazil senior national team.
