About the player
Marius Andresen was born in Oslo. He came up through Frogner and then Skedsmo, where he broke into senior football in the 3. and 4. divisjon during the 2017–2018 seasons. A move to Lørenskog followed in 2019, keeping him in the 3. divisjon and NM Cup football for three years.
The turning point came at Moss, which he joined as a free agent in January 2022. He helped the club win the 2. Divisjon that year and go up to the OBOS-ligaen, then made 22 appearances in the promotion-winning campaign. The following season he went further still: 27 appearances, 2 goals and 5 assists earned him a place in the OBOS-ligaen's Team of the Year. Moss finished the job in the table, but a promotion playoff defeat to Haugesund meant the top flight had to wait. Andresen stayed on through the 2024 season in the OBOS-ligaen before leaving as a free agent.
Aalesund signed him on a free transfer at the end of January 2025, tying him down until December 2027. A right-footed right-back, he wears the number 2 shirt for the club. He has not featured for Norway at any international level.
