About the player
Mohammed Diomande began his career at the Right to Dream Academy in Ghana before joining FC Nordsjælland in Denmark in February 2020 on a free transfer, making his professional debut that same month, on 19 February. He developed into a defensive and central midfield presence for the Danish club.
In January 2024, Diomande moved to Rangers FC on loan with a mandatory obligation to buy, a deal that became permanent that summer for a fee reported between £4.3 million and £4.5 million. He settled into the Rangers midfield wearing the number 10 shirt, and he scored in the 2024 Scottish League Cup Final against Celtic, a match that finished 3-3 before Celtic won the shoot-out 5-4, leaving Diomande on the losing side.
The midfielder earned his first senior call-up to the Ivory Coast national team and made his debut on 7 June 2024, coming on as a substitute in the 78th minute of a 2026 World Cup qualifier against Gabon.
In August 2026, Diomande left Rangers for Çorum FK in the Turkish Süper Lig, in a transfer reported at around €5.6 million.
