Nile Omari Mckenzie John

In December 2024, fans voting in Portugal's Liga Portugal 2 picked Nile John's effort as the goal of the month — six months removed from Tottenham Hotspur's development set-up.

The London-born player, raised in White City, spent 2021 to 2024 at Spurs. He made his senior debut for the club in February 2021 but played only two matches for the first team. The bulk of his work came a level below: 59 appearances and eight goals for the under-21s, and a Premier League 2 title in the 2023/24 season.

A loan to Charlton Athletic in 2021/22 produced nothing. He did not appear in a single competitive match for the first team and stayed on the bench.

The move to Feirense in 2024 changed that. Playing regularly in the second tier, he made 35 appearances and scored seven goals.

In January 2026 he joined Moreirense as a free agent. Portuguese outlets Bola na Rede and TransferFeed reported the transfer without a fee. He has since made 16 appearances for the club, scoring once, wearing the number 23 shirt.

England capped him through the youth ranks: five matches and three goals at under-16, two at under-17, two matches and a goal at under-18, and seven at under-19. He has not been called up to the senior national team.
