Niall Morahan

Niall Morahan came through the ranks at Sligo Rovers, having joined the club's academy from Carrick Town in 2015 and progressed through the U17 and U19 sides before his senior debut in August 2018. He was appointed club captain for the 2024 season and picked up the Senior Player of the Year award, having earlier been named U17 Player of the Year in 2017 and taken Sligo's Player of the Month prize for February 2020.

His time at Sligo Rovers included a run in the UEFA Europa Conference League, where he made his European debut in 2021, and he featured in all six of the club's matches during their 2022 European campaign, which brought wins over Bala Town and Motherwell before elimination at the hands of Viking.

Morahan also represented the Republic of Ireland at underage level, and was named among the substitutes for the final tournament game against Norway that July. A call-up to the U21 squad followed in October 2021, though he did not add a cap at that level.

In November 2024, having left Sligo Rovers as a free agent, Morahan signed a multi-year deal with Bohemians, a move he linked to manager Alan Reynolds' plans for the squad.
