P. Munguengue

Dynamo Kyiv's number 99 is a product of Paris's suburban football scene rather than a big academy from the start: before Pierre Mounguengue ever wore Paris Saint-Germain colours, he came through Évry, Mya Futsal Essonne and US Villejuif, joining PSG's academy only in 2021. He worked his way through the youth ranks there, winning the Championnat National U19 in successive seasons and the Coupe Gambardella, before making his first-team debut in a Ligue 1 match against Lorient. That breakthrough came just weeks before the end of the season in which PSG were crowned champions.

Rather than staying to fight for a place in Paris, Mounguengue turned down a professional contract offer from PSG and instead signed for Dynamo Kyiv on a free transfer, agreeing a three-year deal.

At international level, Mounguengue has been a fixture of France's youth setup. He featured for France U17 at the 2025 FIFA U-17 World Cup, scoring during that cycle, and has since added caps at U18 and U19 level. Senior recognition has not yet followed.
