Pavel Gorelov

Pavel Gorelov started out in the FC Rostov academy and made his senior debut for the club in the Russian Premier League in June 2020, against PFC Sochi, in a match played while the first team was under quarantine. He spent the following seasons shuttling between Rostov's youth and reserve sides before joining the Armenian club Van in 2022–23, where he made 34 appearances and scored three goals in the Armenian Premier League.

He then moved to KAMAZ in the second tier. Over two seasons there he made 55 appearances across league and cup football and scored six goals. A transfer to Chernomorets Novorossiysk followed in January 2025, where he made 18 appearances and scored once before a further move, on a free transfer, took him to FC Orenburg in the Premier League in September 2025. At Orenburg he made three league appearances and five in cup competition.

Gorelov's dual Russian and Armenian citizenship has also opened the door to youth international football: he has represented Armenia at both under-19 and under-21 level, scoring once in two U19 caps and debuting for the U21s in June 2023. Now at Rotor Volgograd, wearing number 21, he has made five official appearances for the club so far. Among his honours is the 2019 Russian Championship among Sports Schools, won during his time in the Rostov academy.
