Qihang Sun

Sun Qihang made his Chinese Super League debut in November 2025, when he was named in the starting line-up against Tianjin Jinmen Tiger following an injury to Shandong Taishan's first-choice goalkeeper, Wang Dalei. He was 24 at the time.

Sun came through the Shandong Luneng academy, where he was named Best Goalkeeper at the Chinese FA U-15 Championship in 2016 as his side finished third, and later travelled to Brazil with the club's U-16 side for the Paulista Cup. His path to senior football began on loan at Zibo Sunday, later renamed Zibo Cuju, where he made his professional debut in the Chinese FA Cup in March 2018 at the age of 16, starting against Sichuan Jiuniu. Across two seasons there he added 12 appearances in China League Two.

He returned to Shandong as a free agent in July 2020, but for several years his football was confined largely to the club's U21 and reserve sides. A loan to Chongqing Tonglianglong in February 2024 brought only a single Chinese FA Cup appearance before Shandong recalled him that July.

Internationally, Sun has represented China at U-19, U-20 and U-21 level, having been called up to the U-20 squad in January 2021, though he has yet to earn a senior cap. He has not won a major title with Shandong Taishan.
