Ronaldo Cisneros Morell

Ronaldo Cisneros Morell started out at Santos Laguna's academy before breaking into the first team, where he made nine appearances across three seasons. At the 2017 CONCACAF Under-20 Championship he took the Golden Boot with six goals in five matches, and that same year he scored a hat-trick for Santos Laguna against Juárez in the Mexican Cup.

A move to Guadalajara followed, but first-team minutes proved hard to come by, and the club sent him out on loan repeatedly. He spent time at Zacatepec, then at farm side Tapatío, where he found his scoring form with seven goals in 29 games. In March 2022 he moved to MLS on loan with Atlanta United, and on 7 May that year he scored a hat-trick in a 4-1 win over Chicago Fire, where he finished with seven goals in 28 appearances.

He returned to Guadalajara before a brief stint at Querétaro, then in August 2025 signed for Costa Rica's LD Alajuelense. The move was met with scepticism among the club's supporters, given a career return of 27 goals over twelve years as a professional. Cisneros has also had to work back from a ligament injury that kept him out for six months.

Across his career he has collected team honours including the CONCACAF Champions League, the CONCACAF Central American Cup, the Mexican Cup (Apertura) and a Costa Rican league title.
