Shanyder Antonio Borgelin

Borgelin's path to Inter Miami began at academy level: he progressed through the Inter USA Academy before joining the Philadelphia Union Academy in 2017, then made his senior debut for Bethlehem Steel FC, the Union's second team, in 2019. Two seasons and 25 appearances in the USL Championship followed before he moved on to Inter Miami CF II in 2022, where he finished as MLS Next Pro's top scorer with 15 goals in 30 appearances — form that earned him a first-team promotion in February 2023. He scored on his MLS debut, against CF Montréal, and went on to make 16 appearances for the club. A loan spell at New Mexico United added 11 further USL Championship outings that year. Borgelin is remembered as the first Haitian player to have Lionel Messi as a teammate at Inter Miami.

His career has since taken him further afield. In August 2024 he joined Danish side Vendsyssel FF, where he scored 8 goals in 28 appearances, before a free transfer in July 2025 took him to Indonesian club Bhayangkara Presisi Lampung FC, for whom he has made 7 appearances.

At international level, Borgelin has represented Haiti's senior team five times between 2021 and 2023 without scoring, having earlier featured for the Haiti under-20 side, scoring once in three appearances at the 2018 CONCACAF U-20 Championship.
