About the player
He came through Mačva's own youth academy in Šabac, the town where he was born, and was promoted to the senior squad in 2021. His first professional contract, signed in May of that year, involved no fee.
He returned to Šabac for 2023–24.
In February 2024 he extended his contract with the club, and the captaincy followed. His market value is estimated at around €450,000.
What the record does not yet show is international recognition: Sladojević has no caps for Serbia at senior level or for any of the youth sides, and no individual awards appear in his file. Nor has Mačva added a Serbian SuperLiga title or Serbian Cup during his time in the first team.
One footnote for anyone searching his name: an older Slobodan Sladojević, a central midfielder born in 1978, turned out for FK Qarabağ in Azerbaijan in 2006–07.
