Sebastian Madejski

Sebastian Madejski's route to Cracovia's goal has run almost entirely through the lower reaches of Polish football. He came through the youth ranks at Podbeskidzie Bielsko-Biała, but never made a competitive appearance for the first team during his four years on the senior books there. Instead, the club sent him out on loan twice, first to Legionovia Legionowo and then to Wisła Puławy, where he made 33 league appearances in a single season.

A permanent move to Olimpia Elbląg followed, and it was there that Madejski settled into regular first-team football, making 47 league appearances over two seasons. Motor Lublin picked him up on a free transfer in July 2020, and he spent two years as their goalkeeper before another free move, this time to Cracovia, in September 2022. He started out with the club's second team before working his way into the senior squad.

At youth international level, Madejski was capped twice by Poland's under-18 side in friendlies in 2015 and was called up for the Slovakia Cup tournament with the same age group, though he has not featured for senior national sides. His career has been built on steady progress through the second and third tiers of Polish football rather than on trophies or individual honours.
