About the player
Sebastian Vasiliadis grew up in the youth ranks at TSG Backnang before moving on to VfR Aalen, where he progressed through the club's second team into the first-team squad and made 60 league appearances, scoring seven goals. Bundesliga in the 2018–19 season.
Vasiliadis signed for 1. FC Saarbrücken on a free transfer in June 2024. Liga in the 2024–25 season.
Eligible for Germany by birth and Greece through his father, Vasiliadis has never won a senior cap for either country. He came closest in November 2019, when Greece called him into the squad for Euro 2020 qualifiers against Armenia and Finland, though he did not feature in either match.
