About the player
Arthur Shah made his first-team debut for Karpaty at 17. The move paid off in the 2023/24 season, when Karpaty finished as runners-up in the Ukrainian First League and earned promotion to the Premier League.
His first senior goal came on 30 October 2022, against Bukovina, in a match Karpaty won 2:1. Nearly two years later, on 11 August 2024, he scored his first goal in the Ukrainian Premier League itself. He has also found the net against Obolon and Vorskla. Across his time with Karpaty's first team and reserves, he has made 62 appearances and scored four goals for the senior side, plus 11 games and two goals for the reserve squad.
Shah has represented Ukraine at youth level, appearing for the under-17s, and more recently for the under-20 and under-21 sides through 2025.
In August 2026, he moved on loan to Lechia Gdansk in Poland, a switch that runs until June 2027. At his new club he swapped his familiar number 33 for number 13. His contract with Karpaty runs to the end of 2028.
