Sturla Ottesen

Sturla Ottesen came through the youth ranks in Oslo, starting at Kjelsås Fotball before a spell with Lyn Fotball between 2017 and 2019, where he scored three goals in six appearances for the club's second team. He returned to Kjelsås for his senior debut in 2019, making 33 appearances and scoring twice, and that year he was named Talent of the Year in the PostNord-ligaen, the country's second tier, earning a 20,000 NOK prize from the Norwegian Football Federation.

A move to Stabæk followed in October 2020, and it proved the longest stop of his career so far: 95 appearances and five goals across three seasons. In February 2024 he left Norway on a free transfer to join SC Cambuur in the Netherlands on an 18-month contract, going on to make 47 appearances for the club before his deal expired in the summer of 2025.

Lillestrøm signed him as a free agent in November 2025, with his three-year contract taking effect at the start of 2026. He has since made 11 appearances for the club.

At youth international level, Ottesen has represented Norway across several age groups, including ten caps for the under-18s in 2019 and four for the under-20s in 2021 and 2022, alongside call-ups to the under-19 and under-21 squads. He has right foot as his stronger side and has yet to earn a senior cap.
