Valerii Sad

Valerii Sad joined the youth academy at Skala Stryi in July 2015 after starting out at Skala Morshyn, with a brief loan spell at Slovakia's Partizán Bardejov in 2017 along the way. He made his senior debut for Skala Stryi in the Ukrainian Second League in the 2017/18 season.

The midfielder moved through several clubs. At Veres Rivne he took bronze in the 2019/20 Second League, and after a stint at Bukovyna Chernivtsi he joined Volyn Lutsk, with a loan to Prykarpattia Ivano-Frankivsk along the way. A move to Metalurh Zaporizhzhia followed, before he signed for Inhulets Petrove, where he won the Ukrainian First League in 2023/24 and helped the club up to the Premier League.

Sad joined SK Poltava as a free agent in February 2026 on a contract until June 2027, taking the number 10 shirt. He has started the 2025/26 First League campaign in form, topping the division's scoring charts with four goals after the first four rounds.

A right-footed attacking midfielder, Sad has not been capped by the Ukraine national team at senior level.
