About the player
Barsukov is a Gomel native who has spent most of his career shuttling between his hometown club and other teams. He started out at FC Gomel before moving to Vedrich-97, then returned to Gomel only to head back to Vedrich-97 again once it had been renamed Rechitsa-2014. When financial trouble hit the main Gomel club, he played at Gomelzheldortrans during the disruption.
A third spell at Gomel followed, and in 2017 he left Belarusian football's traditional structures for Dnepr Mogilev. From there he moved on to Smolevichi-STI and then to Slavia-Mozyr, where he stayed for the best part of four years before returning to Gomel on a free transfer in January 2024.
