Younes Taha

Younes Taha's path into professional football began with a rejection.

His breakthrough came at PEC Zwolle, where he signed on a free transfer in the summer of 2022. In the 2022–23 Eerste Divisie season he scored 14 goals in 33 appearances, including a hat-trick against FC Dordrecht, and became the youngest player to pass 10 goals in a single Eerste Divisie campaign. Zwolle finished second that season and won promotion to the Eredivisie, with Taha among the division's joint-top scorers behind Lennart Thy.

That form took him to FC Twente for a fee of €1.2 million in June 2023, on a four-year contract. He returned to Twente in the summer of 2026 and signed a contract extension through June 2029.

At international level, Taha helped Morocco's under-23 side win the 2023 U-23 Africa Cup of Nations and scored during the group stage at the 2024 Olympics in Paris.
