Yotala sits in Chuquisaca's Oropeza Province, where the matches that mattered were against Atlético Sucre and Universitario de Sucre. Club Atlético Juniors changed that: a group of young people put it together on 4 June 2014, and the databases that still list 1912 as the founding year are describing a different club entirely, the Santa Cruz de la Sierra side that once reached a Copa Sudamericana semi-final — a run no Yotala team could have played any part in.
The Estadio Municipal de Yotala, known locally as Estadio Lourdes, holds 7,000. Juniors play in navy blue and white.
What changed is the second division place. Juniors have never lifted the Copa Simón Bolívar, but they have earned their way into it, securing promotion for the 2026 season and drawing Mineros Potosí, Wilstermann Cooperativas and Independiente Cochabamba among their first opponents at that level.
