Doqarah

The 2023–24 season should have been the start of something clean for Doqarah: a Second Division title won on the pitch against Jerash, settled 1–0 on aggregate. Instead the Jordan Football Association stripped it in June 2024 over alleged foul play, and the dispute went to the Court of Arbitration for Sport, which let the club keep its place in the First Division while leaving the revocation in place. Locally, the sharper needle is with Al-Karmel, the side Doqarah beat 5–1 in the following season's Second Division final, and with Al-Hussein Irbid, the other club sharing the Irbid Governorate's football map.

Doqarah grew out of Duwaqarah as a social and cultural club in 1990, long before any of that mattered. That changed fast. The 2023–24 Second Division title, contested title or not, put them in the First Division; a runners-up finish there in 2024–25 kept them moving; and a 1–0 win over Ma'an in the promotion playoffs sent them into the Jordanian Pro League for 2025–26 — three divisions climbed in three seasons.

Saeed Murjan, the Jordan national team captain with more than 90 caps, joined in 2023. The club plays out of Prince Hashim Stadium in Ar Ramtha, which holds 5,000.
