Dynamo Neva won the Women's Hockey League (WHL) in 2023/24, beating Biryusa of Krasnoyarsk 4:1 in the final series.

The medals had been arriving for years. Bronze in 2016/17 and again in 2017/18, silver in 2018/19, then bronze once more in 2021/22. Biryusa's Krasnoyarsk side stood in the way in the 2024 final.

Three of those four medals were won before the club existed in its present form. The women's team was formed in 2013 as a structural subdivision of HC Dynamo Saint Petersburg and played under the plain name Dynamo. Only in 2020 did it become a separate entity in the WHL and take the name Dynamo Neva.

The club keeps the blue and white of the wider Dynamo sports society. Home games are at SK Yubileyny on Prospekt Dobrolyubova, an arena for 6,500 spectators, with a smaller 1,000-seat hall alongside.
