Šarūnas Beniušis has worn the captain's armband long enough to become the club's all-time leader in games played and points scored. The club took shape in 1999 under Nerijus Kuzmickas, a former footballer who became its first captain.

The high point came in 2010–11, when Juventus beat KK Kaunas to lift the Baltic Basketball League Challenge Cup. Domestically the ceiling has held firm at bronze: third place in the Lithuanian Basketball League in 2014–15, 2015–16 and again in 2020–21. The 2014–15 run owed much to Rashaun Broadus, whose form that season carried Juventus to its first medal of any colour.

European football has occasionally handed the club nights bigger than its budget would suggest — a quarter-final in the FIBA Europe Cup in 2017–18, a playoff run in the Basketball Champions League the year before — before the usual gap in depth told against sides like Sidigas Avellino and AEK Athens. Jamar Diggs was named the league's Most Valuable Player in 2017–18, a rare individual honour for a club built more on collective grit than star power.

Juventus now goes by its long-running nickname, Juvė, and heads into the new season with Devon Daniels leading the scoring column, chasing the kind of bronze finish that has become the club's ceiling and, so far, its most familiar shape.
