Northern Mariana Islands U20

The Northern Mariana Islands were dropped into a "Development Phase" bracket for the draw for the 2027 AFC U20 Asian Cup Qualification, hosted by Mongolia, which also includes Nepal. They finished bottom of their group in the 2025 qualifiers without a point, beaten 0-6 by Kuwait, 0-8 by Lebanon and 0-10 by Korea Republic in Kuwait.

The Northern Mariana Islands Football Association only reached Full Member status at the Asian Football Confederation in December 2020, having joined as an associate in 2009, and it is still waiting on FIFA to act on the membership application it lodged in October 2021 — so no World Cup path exists for any age group under its control yet.

Locally the players go by the Blue Ayuyu, named for the coconut crab found across the Marianas, and they wear the same crest and blue-and-white colours as the senior national side, with no separate badge of their own. Goalkeeper Vicente Jose Reyes has been the name most tied to the setup in recent squads.
