The Ukrainian Amateur Cup does not come easily to a village club, and Olimpiya Savyntsi needed until the 2019–20 season to get their hands on it, after two further finals in 2020–21 and 2022–23 ended in defeat.

Domestically the club has barely lost its grip on Poltava Oblast, taking the regional championship seven times between 2016 and 2025 and the regional cup nine times in the same stretch.

Olimpiya's best run there came in 2024–25, when they beat Kremin Kremenchuk and then Hirnyk-Sport to reach the last 32, only for Zorya Luhansk to end it with a 4-1 win. Without a pitch in Savyntsi built to the required standard, home matches are played at the Start Stadium in nearby Myrhorod.

Players have moved through and on: Olavale Fabunmi arrived having come through Arsenal Kyiv's youth ranks, while Artem Onishchenko left for Hirnyk-Sport in August 2024 after establishing himself as the team's attacking midfielder.
