The military origin shaped the club for decades. It carried the Singapore Armed Forces name into the S.League and only became Warriors FC in 2013, a change that came late in a story that was already built. Fandi Ahmad and Shahril Ishak wore the shirt across different eras of that success.

Choa Chu Kang Stadium, holding 4,268, stayed the home ground through the title years and after them, blue and yellow shirts filling a small bowl rather than a big one. The club did not fade on the pitch first. Financial trouble and unpaid wages caught up with it off the field, and in 2021 Warriors FC was dissolved.

Nine championships remain the number attached to its name.
