Arena-2000-Lokomotiv
Yaroslavl, Russia
The arena opened on 12 October 2001, and the first match inside it was between HC Lokomotiv Yaroslavl and Lada Togliatti. The club has since stayed in the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL) — the only team from Yaroslavl to reach the Gagarin Cup Finals. The seating capacity for such games is listed as 9,070 in encyclopedic sources, though the official website gives 8,905. For concerts the figure drifts further, between 8,200 and 8,795.
The building sits on Gagarina Street 15.
In September 2011 the arena hosted a memorial service for the team after the plane crash that killed most of the squad.
The arena does not have a former sponsor-based name. It is officially designated as UKRK "Arena-2000" or UKRK "Arena-2000. The official website is https://www.arena.yar.ru/, not the club’s own site.
