Centre Agnico Eagle
Val-d'Or, Canada
Formerly: Palais des Sports, Centre Air Creebec
Centre Agnico Eagle stands in Val-d'Or, Quebec.
In 2005 it became Centre Air Creebec, then in 2021 the mining company Agnico Eagle took the naming rights. The complex also includes Aréna Kiwanis, a secondary surface for practice and smaller events. There is no confusion here with other venues; the name belongs to this town alone.
Inside, the ice measures 195 by 85 feet, standard dimensions for the league. The benches are from Hussey Seating Company. It is a request born of safety, not spectacle.
Concerts and games share the same roof. The Foreurs play here, and the town watches.
