Dignity Health Sports Park Track & Field Stadium
Carson, United States
Formerly: Home Depot Center, StubHub Center
What hasn't moved is the Mondo Super-X track, the surface most of the athletes who pass through the wider Dignity Health Sports Park complex end up training or racing on, ringing a field of Bandera Bermuda grass.
Seating is fixed at 2,000, small enough that it reads more like a purpose-built training venue than a stadium. Temporary stands can push capacity to 10,000 for a US Open Cup tie or a bigger night on the football calendar, and the grandstand comes back down once the fixture is done.
LA Galaxy II call it home, playing out their USL Championship season on a track-and-field pitch rather than a purpose-built soccer ground, a setup shared by few other clubs at that level. The venue has hosted US Open Cup matches in 2014, 2015 and 2022, but it has never landed an NCAA championship or an Olympic Trials meet, and there are no concerts on the calendar here — this arena stays a working track, not a touring stop.
The heavier construction spend at Dignity Health Sports Park — the $10 million project in 2017 and the work running from 2024 through 2027 — has gone into the wider complex rather than this particular stadium, which has kept its original footprint since 2003.
