Igrišče Ivan Gregorič

Dekani is a village outside Koper, and its ground has stayed close to its founding shape since 1938. NK Jadran Dekani plays here, on natural turf, without much of the machinery that turns a village pitch into something else — no reconstruction that reshaped it into a bowl, no rebranding that erased the name. It has carried one name throughout, Športni park Dekani, which now sits alongside the ground's newer designation, Igrišče Ivan Gregorič.

What the ground actually holds is harder to pin down than most. Local listings put capacity near 2,500, with roughly a thousand of those seated, but that figure has moved over the years — a 2019 refit is said to have left the main stand with far fewer seats than before. For a club of this size, the exact number matters less than what it signals: a ground built for a village side, not stretched to fit a bigger ambition.

The address itself, Dekani 75 A, places the ground inside the settlement rather than on some outskirts industrial plot, which is fairly ordinary for grounds of this scale scattered across the Koper hinterland.
